A farm-stay amidst mango and litchi trees, located on the edge of Corbett reserve, Corbett Farmyard will treat you to Nature as well as comfort. The property has four cottage rooms with a “Under The Mango Tree” dining area, a kitchen and an outdoor Library!
The cottages are reminiscent of the buildings of local villages, but contain all modern amenities including air-conditioners, room safes, WiFi and TV. Open spaces lie between most rooms, with the place lending itself splendidly to languid walks along little paths and lazing on wooden decks outside the cottages. The tranquil silence of the estate is broken only by bird calls, or the clink of cutlery. A little further down you can find a river canal flowing, where you can sit back and have a conversation with yourself.
There is much to do at Corbett Farmyard besides enjoying the serenity. You can participate in kite flying, tree planting and cycling, play a game of croquet, or check out the kitchen’s organic garden and go for nature walks. On the other side of the farmyard, you can take a walk in the jungle area to explore the wild side. There is also, of course, the Jim Corbett National Museum where walks and drives can be arranged.
The farmyard creates a calming and amorous atmosphere, making it a great place for a romantic excursion. Lush natural surroundings, lots of options to relax and pamper yourself, good service, and comfortable rooms make Corbett Farmyard an ideal spot to unwind at.
P.S – Jim Corbett spent his childhood in this area – the small village of Kaladhungi – where the family spent their winter, moving down from Nainital. And the forests behind the property are where he developed his fascination for the wildlife. So they say!
